„God bless me!“ is commonly used when one sneezes or „God bless you!“ when someone else does. This custom originated during the plague in the begining of the 15th century. It had spread to yet another province continuing to claim lives. Eventually it reached a farm where two siblings lived. They had noticed that all those who had died first developed a bad sneeze. Because of this they starting praying for God to protect themself and each other every time they sneezed. As it turned out they were the only survivers in the whole province. Therefore everyone should always ask for Gods blessing having sneezed and then no one will die because of it.
